In collaboration with Bangkit Academy 2023 and supported by Google, GoTo, and Traveloka, our capstone project focuses on “Organic and Non-Organic Waste Classification using Machine Learning.” This project addresses the pressing global issue of waste management and environmental sustainability by developing an innovative machine learning solution.

The primary goal of our project is to create a robust machine learning model capable of accurately classifying waste materials into two categories: organic and non-organic. This classification process is vital for efficient recycling and waste disposal practices.

Our approach leverages state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and techniques to automate the waste classification process. By utilizing image recognition and classification methods, we aim to empower waste management facilities, recycling centers, and environmental organizations with a tool that can quickly and accurately identify the nature of waste materials.
